Activities

To accomplish our mission, the Annapolis Coalition engages in the following activities:

  • Advise federal agencies and commissions on workforce issues;
  • Conduct strategic workforce planning for governmental agencies, non-profit organizations, and foundations;
  • Provide technical assistance on workforce development;
  • Develop workforce competencies and assessment tools;
  • Conduct national searches for innovations in workforce development;
  • Disseminate information about workforce best practices and innovations;
  • Convene expert panels on workforce topics;
  • Contribute to the published literature on behavioral health workforce development;
  • Organize educational conferences and events;
  • Provide keynote addresses at workforce conferences and meetings;
  • Maintain a network of stakeholders in the future of the workforce;
  • Link stakeholders who share interests and can assist each other in implementing workforce best practices;
  • Issue a quarterly electronic newsletter; and
  • Provide intensive learning collaboratives on workforce recruitment and retention.
