The accomplishments of the Annapolis Coalition include the following: Concluding a two-year, federally funded strategic planning process that involved more than 5,000 individuals, the Annapolis Coalition released the national Action Plan on Behavioral Health Workforce Development in 2007. Six national searches for Innovation in workforce development have been conducted, including the most recent Pacesetter Award. The Coalition has brought multiple professional and advocacy groups together to strengthen workforce competencies, and played a key role in developing the Alaskan Core Competencies. It has generated a substantial body of peer-reviewed publications and applied that knowledge in the provision of technical assistance to states and organizations.
